Run separate Dev, Staging and Prod workspaces

Updated Jun 25, 2026

By default an account owns one workspace. On a plan with multiple workspaces enabled, the same owner can run separate workspaces — for example Dev, Staging and Prod — under one login.

Why you may need separate workspaces for Dev, Staging and Prod?

  • In Enterprise settings, it is a best practice to have separate workspaces for Dev, Staging and Prod.
  • This setup will ensure minimal disruptions to end-users when there are new apps being developed or when the existing apps are changed.

Note: Currently Max and Enterprise plans support an account to own multiple workspaces.

How to create another workspace?

  • Go to the sign-up page and register with your existing email and password.
  • Enter a name for the new workspace and choose a plan that supports multiple workspaces (badged on the plan picker).
  • The new workspace is created — use the workspace switcher to move between them.

Good to know
