- Sensitive fields are masked by default; an owner can tick Include sensitive data to export real values where allowed.
- For forms / transactions containing header and line items, data is exported to multiple sheets
Export
- Open the app and use the Export menu.
- Choose Excel or Google Sheet; pick folder where to save the file.
Sensitive data
- SSN and card fields are masked (last 4 digits) in exports by default.
- An owner can tick Include sensitive data to export the real values where the field type allows it (card numbers are only ever stored as last-4).
Tip
- App Owners/ Editors should use the Export file layout as a template for Import file. This will ensure data is imported without any data layout inconsistencies.
Good to Know
- All App users can export App data.
- SheetApps supports MS Excel (.xlsx), Google Sheets, JSON and CSV (only for forms without header/ line items). Recommendation is to use Excel or Google Sheets.
